DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The short term objective of the study aims at the assistance of the Latvian Government on rules for minimising traffic exhaust emissions and on the rules for petrol stations, based on the European environmental standards. The long-term objective is to provide the Latvian Government with tools to implement the European standards of fuel quality and petrol stations and to help the competent authorities to use these tools.
