Implementation of the Birds Directive in Estonia

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: MOB implemented this large project with the aim to identify the Special Protection Areas for the protected wildbirds as part of the Natura 2000 network. This complex project included fieldwork, training on the Birds and Habitats Directive for selected Estonian staff, and the preparation of a pilot management plan in North West Saaremaa Island (Steller's Eider)
